What happens next? Time for Google Business Profile client onboarding.
Understand the easy client onboarding process when you choose Fishes + Loaves Digital.
Welcome!
Thank you for choosing Fishes + Loaves Digital. I’m looking forward to working with you.
This page explains what happens after you purchase a service package, what I’ll need from you, and what you can expect while your project is underway. My goal is to make the process as simple as possible.
Step 1: Watch for Your Welcome Email
After your purchase, you’ll receive a welcome email with everything you need to get started.
The email will include links to:
- How to add Fishes + Loaves Digital as a Google Business Profile Manager
- Google Business Profile Photo Guidelines
- The onboarding page
If you don’t see the email within a reasonable amount of time, please check your spam or junk folder for the client onboarding information before contacting me.
Step 2: Complete the Client Questionnaire
I’ll ask a few questions about your business so I understand how you operate and what you’re hoping to accomplish.
The form will ask for:
- Your services
- Your service area
- Your website
- Your business goals
- If you’ve added Fishes + Loaves Digital as GBP manager
- Your current business hours; you can also note seasonal hours changes in the box
The more information you provide, the better I can tailor my recommendations to your business.
Step 3: Add Me as a Manager
To complete your project, you’ll need to add Fishes + Loaves Digital as a Manager of your Google Business Profile.
You will:
- Keep ownership of your profile
- Keep your Google password private
- Be able to remove my access whenever you choose
If you need help with this step, simply follow the Manager Access Guide or contact me.
Step 4: Send Photos (If Needed)
Depending on the package you’ve selected, I may ask you to provide current photos of your business.
Helpful photos to send druing client onboarding often include:
- Your work
- Your team
- Vehicles
- Equipment
- Completed projects
- Business location (if customers visit you)
Please don’t worry about taking perfect pictures. Clear, current photos are much more valuable than heavily edited ones.
Step 5: I Get to Work
Once I have everything I need, I’ll begin your project.
Depending on your package, that may include:
- A comprehensive Google Business Profile audit
- A GBP Opportunity Report
- A 30-Day Action Plan
- Profile improvements
- Ongoing monthly management
I’ll work carefully and keep you informed throughout the process.

Communication
I believe good communication is part of good service.
If I have a question, I’ll ask. If I need additional information, I’ll let you know. If I discover something unexpected, I’ll explain what I found and discuss the best path forward before making significant changes.
You’ll never be left wondering what’s happening with your project.
What I Need From You
The projects that move most smoothly usually have one thing in common: responsive communication. If I ask a question or request additional information after client onboarding, a timely response helps keep your project on schedule.
You don’t need to be available every day, but staying in touch helps avoid unnecessary delays.
What I Don’t Need
You don’t need to understand Google’s algorithms. You don’t need to know marketing terminology. You don’t need to spend hours researching Google Business Profile features before we begin.
That’s my job.
Your job is to run your business. Mine is to help your Google Business Profile better represent it.
A Few Important Reminders on Client Onboarding
As we work together, please keep these points in mind:
- You’ll always remain the owner of your Google Business Profile.
- I will never ask for your Google password.
- I don’t guarantee rankings, phone calls, or revenue.
- I’ll always explain significant recommendations before implementing them.
- Honest communication is more important than making unrealistic promises.
Questions Along the Way?
If something doesn’t make sense or you simply have a question about client onboarding, please ask.
I’d much rather answer a quick question than have you wonder what comes next. My goal is to make this process clear, practical, and as stress-free as possible.
Thank you again for trusting Fishes + Loaves Digital. I appreciate the opportunity to work with you and help strengthen your Google Business Profile.
